Dana is highly skilled at providing strategic advice on a wide range of workplace matters, including employer obligations under enterprise agreements and the Fair Work Act 2009, managing employee poor performance and misconduct, termination of employment, including unfair dismissal, general protections and disability discrimination claims, workplace investigations and industrial disputes. Dana has over 20 years' experience as a workplace relations and discrimination lawyer both in private practice, and as a government lawyer, including in-house at the Department of Education and Training and more recently, at the VGSO. Dana's experience includes managing complex discrimination and employment litigation in the Federal Court, the Federal Circuit Court, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and internal disciplinary appeals boards, representing clients at conciliation conferences in the Fair Work Commission, the Victorian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission and the Australian Human Rights Commission.
