Veronica is a Managing Principal Solicitor in the Workplace Relations and Occupational Health and Safety Branch.
Veronica is a senior employment and industrial relations practitioner with over 10 years' experience working in private practice, with the Federal Government, the Fair Work Commission, the Union movement and an employer association.
Veronica has advised extensively on employment law, industrial relations and employment related disputes. This includes advising clients on industrial action, enterprise agreements (drafting, negotiations, interpretation, approval and bargaining), advising on the engagement of employees, termination, performance management, bullying, general protections, anti-discrimination and unfair dismissal and representing clients at the Fair Work Commission, VCAT, Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. Veronica is also experienced in advising clients on occupational health and safety obligations, specifically legislative compliance and defending prosecutions by the regulator.
Veronica is also committed to serving her professional community, and the community at large, having provided pro bono support to JobWatch Inc., a community legal centre specialising in employment law, and other non for profits including Pink Elephants Support Network.
