Rebecca has a broad practice in civil litigation and dispute resolution. Her practice includes advising public sector clients in personal injury claims (litigated and non-litigated), applications and reviews arising under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997 and general civil claims involving the State

Rebecca's clients include the Department of Justice and Community Safety, the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority, and the Attorney-General.

Prior to joining the VGSO, Rebecca worked as a senior associate in the Common Law Division of the County Court of Victoria where she gained significant experience in civil procedure and case management of matters including personal injury, interlocutory applications, defamation and medical negligence. Rebecca was most recently associate to Judge Clayton, Head of the Defamation List. Prior to this she was associate to Judge (now Justice) Tsalamandris, Head of the Common Law Division and Medical List. During her time at the Court, Rebecca also worked at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal on matters including review and regulation, guardianship and administration, and privacy and health records.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Rebecca worked as a teacher both in Australia and internationally with a strong focus on problem solving and building meaningful stakeholder relationships.
