Patricia is an experienced and trusted legal advisor, with a broad practice in environmental and planning law. She regularly acts in complex litigious and advisory matters in relation to a wide range of subject areas such as:

  • environmental and planning approvals, and regulatory compliance;
  • compulsory acquisition;
  • climate change;
  • energy and resources;
  • Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal cultural heritage;
  • renewable energy;
  • offshore projects;
  • waste management and resource recovery;
  • native title;
  • water;
  • major projects; and
  • sustainable development.

Patricia brings top-tier private practice experience to government and is known for her strategic and solutions-oriented approach to complex issues.

Prior to joining the VGSO, Patricia's worked at top-tier law firms, advising clients in both the public and private sectors. Most recently she was a Senior Associate at Allens in the Environment and Planning team where she also was a core member of the Climate Change and ESG practice group, and key contributor to thought leadership projects.
