Linsey's practice involves representing Victoria Police in personal injuries claims in the Supreme Court and County Court as well as in coronial investigations. Linsey also acts for a range of clients in matters arising under the Vexatious Proceedings Act 2014 including the Attorney-General for whom she also acts in matters under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997. Linsey has been a government lawyer for over 12 years having commenced her public service career as a graduate recruit in 2008. Linsey has previously undertaken roles within the Department of Justice and Community Safety and Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission. In those roles, she provided complex and authoritative advice in the areas of compliance and enforcement, administrative law and the use of investigative and coercive powers. Linsey also has experience instructing counsel in public inquiries and examining witnesses. She has appeared in the Magistrates' Court, County Court, Supreme Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
