Kate is an experienced dispute resolution and litigation lawyer who represents public sector clients in civil litigation including civil claims against Police officers, claims against Corrections Victoria, personal injury claims by former wards of State and reviews under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997. Kate has extensive litigation experience in all Victorian jurisdictions including the Supreme, County and Magistrates Courts, and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. She has also practised in the Federal Court of Australia.

Prior to joining the VGSO, Kate worked in private practice where she acted for a broad range of commercial clients in contractual, shareholder, Corporations Act, property/leasing disputes, class actions and other large scale litigation.
