Jessica is a solicitor in VGSO's Commercial, Property and Technology branch.  She advises a range of Victorian government departments and agencies on commercial contracts and transactions, including procurement, governance and statutory interpretation. She also advises in relation to property matters.

Since joining the VGSO in 2022, Jessica has worked on a wide range of transactional and advisory matters in commercial, property and administrative law areas.

Prior to joining the VGSO, Jessica worked as in-house legal counsel at Cladding Safety Victoria where she provided advice on construction law, government procurement, commercial transactions, public sector governance and freedom of information. 

Jessica was also part of the Victorian Government Graduate Program, where she undertook rotations in the Victorian Health Building Authority and Victoria Police, with a focus on government infrastructure construction projects.

Before joining the Victorian Government, Jessica gained experience in tax, criminal law and family law through working at various private firms, community legal centres and state and federal courts.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Monash University. As part of her studies, Jessica completed an internship with the Australian Law Reform Commission which was instrumental in establishing her interest in the public sector.
