Jacinta's practice focuses on coronial inquests, defamation claims, police tort claims, personal injury claims, and applications and reviews under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to Be Tried) Act 1997. Jacinta advises and represents a range of government clients, including Victoria Police, the Department of Justice and Community Safety, the Department of Transport, the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing and the Attorney-General's Office.

Prior to joining the VGSO in April 2018, Jacinta worked as a solicitor at the Crown Solicitor's Office in New South Wales for over three years. In that role, she worked in various practice groups, including: Native Title and Constitutional Law, Torts (Service/Regulatory Agencies), and Employment Law and Industrial Relations. Jacinta previously worked as an Associate at the County Court of Victoria, where she gained experience in both the civil and criminal jurisdictions.
