Bernadette is a solicitor in the Inquiries, Prosecutions and Administrative Law Branch at the VGSO. Bernadette's practice focuses broadly on administrative law, professional regulation and disciplinary matters assisting Government Departments and Victorian Public Sector clients with advice and litigation services.

Bernadette has significant investigative experience, conducting investigations in relation to professional conduct and health.

Prior to joining the VGSO, Bernadette worked for various professional regulators, including the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria, completing complex misconduct investigations. Bernadette is experienced bringing immediate action proceedings, disciplinary hearing proceedings and has worked with co-regulatory authorities and Government Departments, including the Coroners Court and Medicines and Poisons Regulation.

While studying law, Bernadette volunteered at Darebin Community Legal Centre and completed an internship at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency.
