Graduate Program

The role of a Law Graduate with the VGSO is wonderfully diverse, constantly challenging and extremely interesting. As a Law Graduate, you will gain exposure to various facets of the legal system, with three-month rotations through four of our six legal Branches: Public Law & Planning, Regulation, Administrative and Disciplinary Law, Commercial, Property & Technology, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Victoria Police, and Workplace Relations & Occupational Safety.

Seasonal clerkship program

The Victorian Government Solicitor's Office will once again be offering a Seasonal Clerkship Program. The Seasonal Clerkship Program is the ideal opportunity for you to explore what the VGSO has to offer and gain practical legal experience. By participating in a Seasonal Clerkship Program you will acquire insight into a career in government law, meet our people, experience our collegiate and professional culture and understand the variety of work completed at the VGSO.
