Progress and Future Directions for Victoria’s Cyber Strategy

The Victorian Government Solicitor's Office invites you to join us on Monday 22 May at 11.00am for an update from the Victorian Government Chief Information Security Officer, David Cullen.

Victoria's Cyber Strategy provides a framework for the State Government to protect its data and systems so that it may continue to operate effectively. Nevertheless, the complex and constantly evolving nature of cyber security threats have placed the Victorian Public Sector (VPS) under pressure to manage and secure their environments. As a result, a knowledge and awareness of emerging cyber security threats is more important now than ever.

During the webinar, David will discuss the cyber security issues affecting the VPS and also showcase the key components of Victoria's Cyber Strategy and how these are being operationalised to minimise the damage and disruption caused by cyber security attacks.

Bea Stathy, Managing Principal Solicitor at the VGSO, will introduce and facilitate the presentation, and the presentation will include a Q&A session powered by questions asked by the audience.
