Current practice

Lisette practises in government and administrative law, primarily providing advice and conducting litigation in land acquisition and planning law. Lisette represents clients in a diverse range of litigious matters across state courts and administrative tribunals.  Lisette regularly advises government clients on questions of statutory interpretation and the exercise of statutory powers.



Lisette joined the VGSO in 2019. In 2018, Lisette was Associate to the Honourable Justice David O'Callaghan in the Federal Court of Australia, assisting in trials and appeal matters ranging from general commercial law, migration law, corporations law and consumer law. Prior to this, Lisette practised at an international commercial law firm in the areas of general commercial litigation and superannuation and funds management. Her previous experience includes acting for corporate and statutory clients in large-scale litigation and advising on regulatory compliance and corporations law issues. 

Lisette holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne
