Current practice

Jasmine's practice focus is on Corrections Victoria and includes general litigation, personal injury, coronial inquests and enquiries, advocacy, prosecutions, discrimination and equal opportunity.

Experience

Prior to joining the VGSO, Jasmine worked as a paralegal at Bradley Allen Love Lawyers, specialising in environment and planning law.

Jasmine then worked as Associate to the Honourable James Allsop AO, Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia. She was then tipstaff to the Honourable Patricia Bergin, Chief Judge in Equity of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Following her time at the courts, Jasmine worked as a lawyer at the Australian Government Solicitor in the Employment and Compensation team. There she was involved in a variety of matters, including compensation litigation, transactional employment matters, employment litigation and High Court litigation. She also provided advice on areas of law including statutory interpretation and constitutional law.

Jasmine has volunteered at the ACT Environmental Defender's Office, Canberra Community Law and the Night Time Legal Advice Service.
