Current practice

Jack practises in government and administrative law, primarily providing advice and conducting litigation in the areas of constitutional law, administrative law, and planning and environment law.


Jack joined the VGSO in 2016 as a graduate lawyer. Since then, he has been involved in range of litigation and advice matters, including judicial and merits review, civil claims against the State of Victoria, and preparation of Statements of Compatibility under the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities.  Jack was admitted to professional legal practise in May 2017.
During his legal studies, Jack worked at a boutique law firm and interned at a community legal service in the East Kimberley.  He has published several academic articles, and received the Professor Colin Howard Memorial Prize for student published research in 2016.
