Current Practice 

Anesti's practice includes litigation and advisory work in constitutional law and administrative decision-making. Anesti also advises government clients on complex questions of statutory interpretation, executive privilege, public interest immunity, privacy, and the handling of confidential and protected information.


Anesti joined VGSO in 2015 from a major international commercial law firm, where he practiced in litigation and dispute resolution. He has experience advising government and corporate clients on large scale litigation, class actions, and complex contractual disputes. He has also advised on the IT/IP issues of a major government retender.
Anesti has conducted litigation in the Magistrates', County, Supreme and Federal Courts and in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. 
Anesti completed his Juris Doctor with First Class Honours at the University of Melbourne where he received a number of awards, including the Melbourne Law School Student Research Prize for his work on comparative constitutional law.
