The Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office invites you to attend a lunchtime seminar as part of the Land Acquisition and Compensation Seminar Series. 
In this seminar we will examine some general themes emerging from recent planning and land acquisition compensation cases.  We’ll take you through some interesting and notable cases from the last two years to consider:

Natasha Maugueret, Managing Principal Solicitor
Natasha leads the Land Acquisition, Planning and Environment team at the VGSO and has particular expertise in land acquisition, compensation and valuation matters. She regularly advises acquiring authorities on land acquisition powers, process and procedure for infrastructure and other major projects.
Mark Egan, Principal Solicitor
Mark has particular expertise in assisting government with statutory approvals and powers in the delivery of government projects.  Mark regularly assists authorities with varied and complex compulsory acquisition and land compensation issues, in dealing with planning, environment and heritage issues.
Jennifer Gould, Senior Solicitor
Jennifer has expertise in compulsory land acquisition and compensation law, and assists government clients with resolving disputes and running litigation related to public infrastructure projects. Jennifer regularly conducts merits review matters in VCAT. 
Lidija Bujanovic, Solicitor
Lidija practices in government and administrative law, primarily providing litigation and advice services in the areas of compulsory land acquisition and compensation law, and planning and environment law. She has worked on a broad range of advice and litigation matters, relating to compensation and judicial review.
