Kate's practices focuses on state care personal injury claims (litigated and non-litigated) and general civil claims involving the State. Kate's clients include the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, Department of Justice and Community Safety and the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority.
Kate joined the VGSO in December 2020 as a paralegal where she assisted in the preparation and management of Corrections Victoria matters, involving general litigation, coronial inquests and personal injury and Victoria police matters. Prior to joining the VGSO, Kate was a paralegal at a boutique law firm where she gained experience in contract, employment and property law. She also worked as a paralegal at Legal Aid ACT and interned at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency in Katherine, Northern Territory.
