Elizabeth is an experienced litigator who advises and represents public sector clients in relation to inquests, inquiries, litigation and dispute resolution. Her clients include Victoria Police, the Department of Justice and Community Safety, the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority and the Attorney-General. Elizabeth's practice includes coronial inquests, inquiries, personal injury claims (negligence and breach of statutory duty) and applications and reviews under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997.

Prior to joining the VGSO, Elizabeth worked as a solicitor at the Coroner's Court of Victoria for over three years. In that role, she assisted the Coroner in various high-profile and complex inquests including the inquest into the deaths of the Bourke Street Victims and the inquest into the deaths of Sestilio Malaspina and Hassan Khalif Shire Ali. Elizabeth has also previously worked at a leading national law firm providing advice and representation to WorkSafe Victoria and self-insurers in defence of personal injury claims.
