Catherine works in the Royal Commissions and Inquiries Branch at the VGSO. Her practice areas include large-scale document production, advice work (eg public interest immunity), witness preparation and evidence analysis. She also advises on administrative law, regulatory and litigation issues.
Prior to joining the VGSO, Catherine worked as a Judge's Associate at the Supreme Court of Victoria, where she focused on employment and industrial law, personal injuries, judicial reviews and appeals. Catherine has worked on disputes at all stages of the litigation process (from interlocutory applications to trials), and thrives in complex stakeholder environments.
Catherine has also volunteered for Victoria Legal Aid in the Magistrates' Court of Victoria and worked as a legal researcher.
She brings these skills and experience to her Royal Commissions and Inquiries practice, to deliver practical solutions for difficult problems.
