In helping clients manage their property portfolio, we provide legal services for all property transactions, including conveyancing, leasing, licensing, and water rights and usage arrangements. We have a thorough understanding of the multitude of statutes that apply to government property transactions, GST and land tax, stamp duty exemptions and retail leases.

We advise clients on a wide range of complex property issues, including statutory interpretation and issues of interpretation with the lease or licence. We have specialist knowledge in Crown land and compulsory acquisition, and work on complex projects such as the Mt Hotham development, the St. Kilda Triangle redevelopment and the Wyndham Harbour redevelopment and major metropolitan hospitals and schools.

Other areas we assist clients in include planning and zoning issues, acquisitions and surrenders to the Crown, user agreements between government agencies for use of facilities and infrastructure, and land management agreements.
