Litigation
The litigation team handles many challenging cases of public interest that are frequently reported in the media. These high-profile cases span all court jurisdictions and range from the State’s challenge to the Commonwealth industrial relations laws, to the recent s11 World Economic Forum claims against the police.
The Litigation team handles any claims involving the State, including international child abduction/removal cases, sexual abuse claims by wards of the State, and negligence claims against the State.
With an experienced team of 24 solicitors, the team conducts all activities under the ‘Model Litigant’ principles, to minimise risk to clients.
