Seminars

The VGSO seminar program is specifically designed to target the most relevant legal issues facing government today.

As well as providing an analysis of the issues, we include real life examples, practical applications and implications – to ensure you take away as much useable information as possible. Guest speakers regularly feature at our seminars, adding further expertise.

With the diverse information requirements spanning government, we cover a broad range of topics, based on our most popular client requests. Our 2009 program includes:

  • Legal and Professional Privilege for Government
  • Obligations of a Decision Maker: Latest Cases in Procedural Fairness
  • Contract - Probity and Procurement in Government
  • Charter update: An Overview of Section 38 Obligations
  • Constitutional Law - State and Commonwealth Relations
  • Whistleblowing in the Victorian Public Sector

Seminars are held every month, between February and November. If you would like to be added to our invitation email list, simply send your request to Rachel Dorian.
