Current practice

Julian has twenty years of experience representing public and private sector clients in civil litigation. He currently acts for Victoria Police, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Attorney-General's Office in civil claims against Police officers, personal injury claims by former wards of State and reviews under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997.


Julian has extensive litigation experience in the Supreme Court, County Court and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. His prior experience includes as Senior Legal Counsel in workers' compensation litigation at WorkSafe Victoria, as a Senior Legal Manager in personal injury litigation at the Transport Accident Commission and in commercial litigation at Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens Linklaters).
Julian holds a Masters of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
